Remove gas from tank?
Tuesday, June 22, 2010 9:20 AM
So I havent driven my car since last October, it had under a half of a tank of 100 octane in it. My guess is yes, but do you recommend me getting rid of the gas in the tank and start fresh again? If so, what is the best way to do it besides removing the tank? Siphon? Are their siphoning hoses made for this out there?

Thanks.

Yes you could use siphoning hose & pump kit. Any auto parts stores sell em. You could also add some more gas into the tank burn it off. Should still be ok. i think also they have additive that stablizes the fuel that can be used.

Good Luck.

If you do want to get it outta there you can remove your fuel line put it into a bucket and run the fuel pump. Thats how we drained my tank before I removed it
