Im going to be painting my car here pretty soon. The seal around the glass is all cracked up and 90% of the black is missing so its showing the chrome underneath.

Anyone know if they sell this as a replacement item? I can only find the glass itself, expensive and the shop didnt know if it would have the seal or not until ordered.

My only other option would be to use a small scraper and remove all the black, sand down the metal and paint it black again.


Anyone have any input?

Mine is like this, chrome is nicer, so i am going to scrape the black off and keep metal, unless it rusts.
