oil leak (2.4)

I have an 01 z24. I have a little oil leak coming somewhere on the back of the motor. Its under the exhaust manifold to the top of the oil pan. I cleaned it all up mainly and ran it for a few minutes, didnt see anything. I searched on here about this, a lot of people said take off the valve cover & check for oil. I havent done that quiteyet? If there is oil surrounding the spark plugs, could it be the camshaft tower gasket or something causing this? I recall blowing out some oil back in the fall from around the spark plugs.

Also, the oil pressure sending unit seems completely dry. and everything up top.
please help.
Thank you in advance

im gonna go with the dipstick leaking.

replace the o-ring and it should be ok.

i agree......dip stick o ring. the valve covers on the 2.4 are not that easy to get off.........timming chain cover and chain must come off, along with just a few other things. i belive is correct on the 01's. ive been having problems with my powersteering pump leaking between it and the can tower.
