ok so after i rebuilt this engine i RTV'ed the intake manifold gasket and closed off the "pcv" port in the head and took the hose from the "intake resonator" and added a catch can then vent to atmosphere but im now curious if this level of blow by is normal
The oil seperator system on the ld9s moves a lot of air throughout the system. Yes that is normal for any ld9 I've ever messed with. My car does push out that vent pretty good and if you look at the seperator assembly on the block there is even an arrow pointing out on that port,so it is meant to expell air.
If you are highly concerned( which I wouldnt be) you can always run a dry and wet compression test on it and see how they compare.
