Cavalier Muffler/Exhaust Questions

'01 Chevy Cavalier
2.2 L 2200 SFi
2-Door Coupe (Gold)
Automatic
104,000 Miles

Within my two years of driving this car around, I've been having problems with the muffler.
Whenever I accelerate, the muffler makes a really ugly sounding buzzing noise.
It just doesn't sound right.
My Dad took the car into a shop, and some dude re-welded it or something...and then it sounded really clean and quiet.
It sounded fine for about 2 - 3 weeks, then after the more driving I did, the ugly buzzing sound started to come back.
I was on the freeway, and the buzzing sound started to get louder and louder...then all of a sudden, the muffler just went out and my car sounded like a roaring behemoth.
My Dad did the same thing with getting it re-welded by one of his buddies for free, and it still makes the ugly buzzing sound, but it hasn't went out on me yet like it did before.

I've been watching some videos on YouTube, and I've seen people put these cool Magnaflow mufflers on their Cavaliers.

^ I want to replace my old, rusty, stock muffler with the one seen in this video.
I love the sound of it, and it looks cool as @!#$.

If I wanted to do this, would I have to replace my whole exhaust system just to put on that new Magnaflow?
Or could I just swap out the mufflers?
And is there anybody on here that knows what kind of Magnaflow that guy has in that video?
And how much would it cost me to throw on one of these bad boys?

You would be better off replacing all of the exhaust system to a 2 1/4 pipe and then use the muffler you want . you can use a fart cannon like the ( cavie freak aka e-thug ) likes but I would also use a 26" glasspak to tone it down alittle .
