So every once in a while ill drive somewhere, and when i go to start my car to leave it will start to start...then it stops, and nothing happens, then it goes. Could this be a sign for time for new battery?
Sounds like you're not holding the key forward long enough.....
Mine does it too. Im still trying to track down the issue. Im hearing that it might be a leaky injector creating a minor flood on start-up.
Just hold the pedal to the floor and crank it. It should fire up since this clears the flood.
My car does this every once in a great while too... but mine is modded and its usually the 02 sensor not being up to heat when the car thinks it should be.
It could just be your fuel filter or a leaky FPR also.... make a habit of letting the fuel filter fully prime before you start it and see if the problem goes away. IF you listen you'll be able to hear it.. or you can watch the volt meter really close if you have an aftermarket one.
Its probably something causing the fuel pressure not to be high enough when its cranked, or possible injector leak down like sundown said.
