Hi guys

Im replacing the starter on the Brother's 1997 cavalier Automatic transmission !! the new one is installed and work only when I jump it to the battery

the problem is that it was installed a remote starter on it BUT my brother dont have the remote and dont care about it.. I just want to keep it simple and rewire it Like oem..


I need to know where is the '' park/neutral position switch so I can jump a new wire frome here to the starter signal..

If I take a look at this diagram the wire is purple .and where is located the park/neutral position switch ???

Its on top of the transmission called "neutral safety switch" where the shift cable gets to the transmission, good luck.
