heyy...i just got an exhaust for my car about a month ago.....ive been doin a lot of electrical stuff with it lately so i keep unhooking my battery so i havent noticed..but my check engine light is on....so i put my code reader on it and it comes up error p0138..which is 02 sensor circut high voltage (bank 1 Sensor 2).....ive also noticed my gas mileage is suffering a little so....
so im assuming my 02 sensor..one of them went bad....but im also assuming its from getting the exhaust....now i dont wanna go buy a new sensor..install it..and have it go bad again...so im just asking is it cause the exhaust that it happened..or is it just the sensor....
I would just bite the bullet and get a new oxy sensor and be done with it, rather than scratching your head wondering what you might have done wrong. oxy sensors suck because if you sneeze at them the wrong way they are going to throw codes. At least they aren't terribly expensive...
