This is new. Well, the battery is a 2 year old DieHard gold, alternator is a 8,000 mile old NAPA Reman unit. Under high electrical load at idle (I always keep headlights on) with A/C fan on, and radio turned up at idle, the radio (a Kenwood KDC-MP142) will turn off, and then back on again, and repeat until I either remove some load (turn down radio, fan, etc) or touch the gas. I don't even have to hit the gas much, just a tiny bit for it to work properly. With a higher load, such as fan on full blast, something plugged into outlet, whatever, it will take a few seconds, then do it, but still very quickly. It is very annoyinng, does anyone have any ideas? Alternator and battery both test out fine.
