Back in July, 90F day, car just cut out while sittling at a light. Restarted and fine for months.
Other driver in the house reports this week(Mid-October) , car hard to start twice now, and cut out twice at stoplight. Its 50F out now.
Was showing check engine light- but light is off now.
Don't want to be playing guessing games or shotgunning parts at this car- 52000 original miles but served us well for 8 years.
What am I looking at as far as plan of attack on fixing ? Car has had oil changes, air filter on schedule. Probably original everything else.
Bottom line-
Who has had an Automatic 03 cut out and show a 500 RPM low idle before doing so, and what did you do to correct it?
Thanks, Jim
Have it scaned code(s) are stored in the computer memory, other than that I would inspect or clean the throtle body but itīs just a guess.
