My power steering broke a few days ago. I took it to the shop and they are saying the rack and pinion and the power steering lines are going to need to be replaced. they quoted me $635 for parts and labor only if my outer tie rods are alright. Is this a fair price? I appreciate the help guys
New rack and lines I would expect to be roughly $280, 4 hours flat rated at $90/hr is $360, I could see the price they quoted you easy.
