I just bought an installation for my 95 sunfire, and I got everything connected, and I tried to put the head unit in, but the head unit is too long, and it wont go all the way in... any help?
Try tucking the wires into the back o9f the dash board. If its a standard size single din radio, it should fit, just gonna take some tucking back there to get it to fit. If there are too many wires, you can always shorten the aftermarket harness down quite a bit. That will help alot with the radio fitting. Hope this helps.
We have a good amount of space to play with in J cars, you should be able to wiggle it in. Trying tucking them back and down into the little crevice.

thanks! it helped. but what didnt help was the fact that the store i went to gave me a kit for a car without depth restriction, which i needed. so i ended up going back and got a new one.... >.<
