i searched and couldn't find anything but i suck at searching. can anyone tell me how to remove the ignition lock cylinder i have the stearing column opened and the swtich off the back just can't figure out how to remove the cylinder

Since you've already removed the key lock assembly here's how to remove the lock cylinder but you may have to have a special tool to do so according the Chiltons manual on page 8-20.
Btw, if you don't have the Chiltons manual, here's a copy I uploaded some time back for those that haven't gotten one yet.

Once you've downloaded the file, check out the suspension and steering section or section 8-20 for the information you're going to need to do the job.
