delco 41-928

I want to go back with the Delco 41-928 (yes i fell for the e3s) but I am scared to run them. My head was warped and milled .040 and i noticed that these plugs have a fairly long electrode in them and I dont want there to be any clearance issues. I figure that i could put one in and spin the motor by hand and check but it would so much more convenient if someone already knew whether they will clear or not. i am sure that they will just checking myself.

by all means spin it by hand, but i remember i put plugs in while i had a head off, and thinking "there's no way that thing would hit the piston" considering it didn't protrude nearly as far as an open valve would, and our pistons are dish topped. i think you'll be fine.

Let me ask this. Are the delco's really worth going back with? I know i went from accel coils back to delcos and it was a world of difference.
