1996 Sunfire No-start (Died while driving)

i have a 1996 Sunfire 2.2L i have never had any problems with it in the 4 years i've had it, it has 310,000km and ran great., today while driving it just died, no warning, just shut off and i coasted to the shoulder, i tried starting it, but all it did was crank. at home i first went to see if the fuel pump was gone, it seemed fine because i could faintly hear it wind up in the tank, i then checked for spark and it too was fine, i took one spark plug off and the piston seemed dry, and when i crank, no fuel shoots out, so i am guessing it maybe the fuel injectors, tomorrow i will buy those test lights for the fuel injection harness, but until then, can anyone think of anything else i could check that would cause a no start? (Crank sensor, computer, etc.)

Just because you can hear it doesn't mean its putting out enough pressure. Test the fuel pump with a guage.

i did some checking on the fuel injection with a noid light and it looks like there is no power coming to any other the injectors, i have a feeling its the crank sensor. a week ago i got a check engine light come but i didnt have a chance to check it. i have another parts car on my driveway, i would like to try and swap the crank senor from my donar car, but i have no idea where it is, is there anyone who knows where i can find some instructions on removing it? also i read that if the crank position sensor is changed that the car has to re-learn it, is that true.?

Please help :-(

crank sensor is on the back of the engine, down bottom, under the ignition coils/module assembly. no, it does not have to relearn it except for in very, VERY rare circumstances.

Thanks, Found it. but i have given up for the night, after about an hour of wiggling and twisting i could not get the sensor out. it turns freely but it feels like a o-ring is snagged, i don't want to break it off, anyone have a tip on what they used or what method can get this thing out?
