I have a '99 2.4L just swapped and I used the old S-belt. The A/C is not charged. When it is really cold out the belt will not squeak until it warms up, but when it is warm it squeaks all the time. It never gets quieter or louder, and it is really on my nerves. Is this a stretched belt, or a bad pulley?

It is either a bad tensioner or bad bearings in the AC compressor....even if it is not working.

I'll check that out-I have another tensioner off my old motor, I will try changing it over.
