Lately my car pulls left under acceleration, like on the freeway when I drop it to 4th and speed up, 55-60 mph it pulls left pretty quickly, let off the gas and it goes perfectly straight. It does this in 2nd and 3rd too, but each gear down the pull left is slightly less. I didn't notice it in 5th or 1st, if its there its minor.
I did just have new tires put on but that is the only change since the suspension about a year ago. The only thing I could think of is to see if the wheel wasn't tightened down all the way but that wouldn't make sense for it happening only under acceleration. Im stumped, any ideas?
P.S. is a manual 2001 Z-24

Your soposed to get a car realigned when you get new tires, so it could be as simple as that. Have you had your control arms off lately for new ball joints, or maybe a poly bushing install? I had an issue like your discribing but when I let off the gas the car pulled to the right. I ended up having loose control arm bolts, so I retightened them to stock spec and all was well after that.
I haven't ever needed an alignment after tires. I had polly control arm bushings put in with the suspension, which was last spring. I'll check the control arm bolts, trans and engine mounts tomorrow. I guess an alignment wouldn't hurt but I had one of those when the suspension was done last spring.

also check your control arm bushings. i had one loose once and it was doing the same things you were talking about.
I went back to Costco to have the the tire balance checked and they rotated the tires. It didn't help, I am going look into getting an alignment done, I forgot to call the shop back who recommended the re-balance, I don't work mondays so I am hoping they can squeeze me in on monday. Ill have then look at the control arm bushings too, thanks Vince.

check the lower control arms, i had this problem, put it up on the lift and looked, seen that junk yard code written on one lower control arm and one big bolt was half in which my whole arm was moving when on the gas hard....impact gunned that bold on, and been good since then
