Cold starts toward about little more then 1/4 into normal temp, it sounds like a misfire(so my friend says it sounds), I'm thinking it's noisey valvetrain/lifters when cold as when the engine is warm and cruising at low speeds and high rpms, i can kind of hear the same noise just not as loud. No vibrating, not much loss of power, I dont push it when cold but when its almost normal temp, all the power is there. No CEL lights (not sure if OBD1 has misfire code)....100k miles on 2.2 ohv 1995, my friend has a 1996 ohv with same noises(mine are little louder) but he has only 32k miles on stock plugs lol 14 year old plugs, my plugs I think they've been changed by the previous owner since there are new wires on them and most people change them at same time....any ideas or experiences with this?

Sounds kinda like umm i dont wanna say a knock cause its nothing like a rod knock, and its not as loud as lifter ticks, dont have a camera to really record it, its a wierd sound, doesnt sound like it's hurting the motor just sounds "different" when it's cold start
