Just got the light last night... I just replaced timing chain and water pump (which requires removing the exhaust manifold). My question is, do you think the sensor is just trashed, or would a small exhaust leak trip it and cause it to have a low circuit? The car seems to run ok, but don't know if this sensor will jack up my air fuel ratio and kill my gas mileage...
My girl had a 96 Vert with the LD9 in it, and she got a a code for her rear O2 also. But before I can help, I need to know the code. So tell the code, and I can tell u what to try. Bc ATM I know of 3 diffrent codes for the rear O2.
I had the dude at autozone scan it. I didnt write down the code =P. Something like left bank low circuit input or something...
Ahhh, yeah see, unfortunatly without the code, I cant tell you anything. Go and get the code re-read and then come back. It could be a faulty o2 but I cant say yes bc Idk what code popped up.
checked the wiring for the o2 sensor they always get frayed and it runs a code when u can just cheaply rewire it, i kno i can have alot of exuast leaks before after sensors and it wont kick a code,,,
