So when I start my car (1995 cav) the abs light is not on. But if I put it in gear and move, a couple of seconds later the light comes on and stays on and from that point ABS doesn't work.
Would this just be a bad wheel sensor, or what?
seems like its a bad sensor on the knuckle. i have the same thing as u describe. My case is i was trouble shooting a bad axle and my swapped on didnt have the abs ring so it couldnt read my one wheel there for lights for service,abs and trac came on(auto_) As soon as change my axle back with the sproket(axle was good) it cleared. reason it dont show untill u move is there is nothing at the beging to tell it other wise. simple fix raise car pull front wheels un plug harness on the knuckle and swap sensors(id do both one shot case 2 are bad) replace wheels test car done.
