Friday night I noticed my theft system and service lights both blinked on when I was heading to the store. On the way back it was fine. This morning had to head out for a job 50 something miles away. Everything was fine on the way there, lights came back on about 1/2 way back.
The car seems to be running fine. Any ideas what it could be? Can't really get to a shop to have it tested for a couple days.
Check your grounds and battery terminals for tightness and if dirty clean them up. Other than that I know that when the battery is low in charge due to a faulty alternator or loose batt terminal the warning lights start going on mine looked like a christmas tree once.
Don't know if it's related, but I gave the car a once-over yesterday afternoon and found one of the side turn signal bulbs was burned out. I replaced that, and haven't seen the warning lights come back on.
