So I was driving a long and make a left U-Turn. And I hear this sound... It sounds like something is slipping. I go to a parking lot and do some left and right turns and it inly does it on the left turns... So I thought that the open diff on my 2.2 3sp auto was suddenly alot more open then it was supposed to be. Days go bay and now I hear it a little on straight acceleration and just barely on right turns... I checked the left axle and cv joints, but everything seems fine.... Can someone help me out... I always fix my own cars but I've never had this problem b4. This is my only car. I use it every day except Sunday, so I need to fix this in one shot and don't want to waste time checking the wrong stuff out if I can help it... Any ideas???

loud clicking and snapping could still be an axle..
I would put the front tires in the air and run it in drive at idle listening for the noise while turning back and forth..
but if you die doing this, im not responsible.
