How do you get rid of the driving lights?

i just installed a new set of hids. everytime i go to put the car in gear the driving light (light) on the instrument cluster flashes and then the check engine light comes on. its because the hid kit i got does not use driving lights. so im thinking of eliminating them! need to know how to pull a fuse or w.e.! thanks

thanks. for some reason its good now. it was the service light which i didnt know was diff. from check engine light

Which Kit did you go with? I'm looking for an HID for my 97. I work on aviation electronics and used to install LED units in peoples turn signals and tail lights from scratch. Living in the desert and not wanting to run over a fox or rabbit I really want to see better at night. Send me a message on who you went with please and thank you.
