i have a 98 cavalier with 162k on it. I put in the HID headlights about a 9 months ago and everything has been fine. This past month one of the HID lights stopped working and when its wet or cold outside my DRL light on the dash blinks at me and the DRL are off. today i was driving home with my headlights on and my headlight is still not working and now my DRL are stuck on even with my headlights and. i tried to turn the high beams on and only the passenger side high beam works. any idea whats going on with this. i no the light being out is a bulb or wire but why are the drl going crazy on it.

headlight harness plug is probably loose or one of the hid ballasts

i took the HID lights out and out the stock bulbs back in and the high beams still come on when i turn my head lights on. When i unplug the high beam light on the drivers side the head light also went out. when i put all the lights back in like it normally should i pulled the relay switch for the drl and they turned off and so did the drivers head light again. im at a lose right now.
