Found out my problem but dont know how to fix =(

When i turn the wheel alot to the right, i hear a clunk pop noise and then when i go straight the car pulls to the right.
When i turn the wheel alot to the left, i hear the same noise and then going straight the car pulls to the left...
sometimes shaking the steering wheel around will give me a change to pull straight

it's not alignment, not tires
i had it up on the lift and i could see my spring actually touches the inner wall of the body, like when you're on the side of the car looking at the spring, its touching the wall behind it. so that clunk noise is actually the spring getting stuck and making my wheel get a bit stuck in the direction i turn, i am dropped on Eibach lowering springs which came already installed on the car when i bought it and im guessing it's stock struts, not sure....i dont know too much about suspension
looking straight at the front of the car, that wheel sits in more (looks like the good side has a wheel spacer and this one dont)
also the spring looks good, not bent or anything, the 3 bolts under the hood are tight

someone said it's probably the strut mount, but i don;t know....i found a small box in the trunk (guess he bought it) says strut mounting kit on it and inside is like plastic rubber circle is that what i need?
or any input on whats wrong with it and how i can fix it....and steps to fix it would be greatly appreciated if it's not obvious

Im confused, the steering should be completely independent from the spring, are you absolutely sure you alignment (basically you toe) isnt horribly off? That could cause everything your talking about.

If your spring is the problem Im not sure... it should seat in the carrier on the strut and not move... are you using all the right parts? Did you cut your springs? Could just be the wrong part for the car also.

i bought the car lowered, im 99% sure theyre not cut, like it looks like the whole spring arm strut thing is tiled inward......wouldnt bad toe only make me pull one way? and i had an alignment done when i got the car bc it was pullin one way when i get on the gas hard and pull the other way when i brake and teh alignment didnt help that, but i checked everything and it came out to be a lose control arm (i think, almost sure thats what its called), that fixed it..since then, no new tie rods or ball joints, no new tires, just a wheel bearing on that side is only thing ive done in that area. when the cars lifted, you can see the spring touching the inner wall and getting hung up when i turn the wheel ( holding that wheel from turning until the spring "pops" off the wall letting it turn)...that sounds worse than it really is but its a problem i want to fix...again, it looks like the whole arm thing is crooked, idk the real name for it....the whole suspension thing that has the strut, the spring, it comes out with those 2 big bolts behind the rotor and the 3 in the strut tower under the hood, that whole thing looks crooked(tilted inward)

Replace your control arm bushings IMO.

Mine did something similar when I first bought it, but it was kinda different. When I hit the gas, it would pull right and brakes made it pull left.

well noo the loose control arm fixed that when i tightened it, im talking about my problem being that my spring touches my inner wheel well wall thing (sorry idk the correct terms)

Your car was probably smashed before, hence your bent lower motor mount.

I would replace the strut mount...when they are broken the whole spring and strut tilt.

That might actually have some truth to it....when I got rear ended, insurance told me this is the 2nd time it was totalled...but when i bought it, there was no sign of any accident so maybe

Stupid question, but relevant.

You do have both bolts on the bottom of the strut connecting the strut and the knuckle right? Are they both tight? The spec is 133 ft lbs.
Missing one or being loose would cause your problem.

And definitely check that the strut/spring is put together correctly. If it is, then the strut tower must have been pushed in due to an accident.

idk torqued to 133, but they're tight and straight, i blasted them with the air gun when i had that wheel off

I would be careful with that. I've broken those bolts before. It doesn't take much over 140 ft lbs to break them and it wouldn't be obvious right away. The bolts are splined, so they don't come out easy.

^ My driveway compressor isn't as powerful as ones in shops...actually its full of water now so it barely has any power, gotta drain it.

I brought the car into my school....my teacher gave it a look he said the spring is seated in the right spot, the strut tower looks fine, the center part of the strut looks fine through the hole under the hood, he just cant figure it out why the spring is touching the inner wall of the body....the tires are wearing evenly, the only problem i have is the noise it makes when i turn which i can barely hear with music and the fact that it gets stuck up sometimes and pulls my car left and right after hard turns

You sure it's not a wheel bearing? Mine made a horrid clunking sound when it started to go.
