So took off my valve cover and my chain i sagging about an inch between the cams (2.2 ECOTEC 04 CAVALIER) how much is there supposed to be. Pictures or even a video would help! everything seems tight but there. Opinions? Thanks,Ed

Deffinatly not any amount of slack. That means something is loose, and its most likely your tensioner. I would take it all apart replace all the chain shoes, the chain and install a newer design tensioner because those are known to go bad. I have a buddy of mine that went through two heads because the stock GM chain failed and snapped, the second time it cost him his whole motor. Goodluck.
