Well as I get to my car sit down and put keys into the ignition and turn the key all I hear sometimes but the majority of times a wierd noise kinda like a zzzzzzzzzttttttt !!!! And when that noise comes up the car don't start and ill try it again and start the car and it'll turn on right. What the hell could it be that it makes that ugly noise. They've told me its the starter but I just put on a new one like a couple of months ago. Help me out here thanks

starter solenoid is probably bad. the noise youre hearing is the starter spinning the gear, but the solenoid isn't kicking the gear out to mesh with the flywheel/ flexplate. so all you get when you turn the key is the whirring. this happened to me a few years ago with a rebuilt starter. i was able to get it warrantied. i would replace it soon, mine eventually got to the point that it wouldnt kick the gear out at all and i had to pop start my car a few times to get going.

Oh k thanks jon D ill replace the starter then. Thanks for the help. And get this its brand spanking new like 4 months old but I'm more than sure it still has warranty so yea. I'll take it off on my next day off
