I have a 2003 Cav with 93,xxx miles, and the fuel pump has already gone out. Is it normal for a fuel pump to go out this early?

there really isn't a set mileage for a fuel pump because there can be many things that go wrong to make a fuel pump go bad...not to get off topic but my first car a 90 z24 before i wrecked it it had 283,xxx miles on the org fuel pump
maybe there was some bad stuff in the gaz and fuel pump didnt like it
It couldn't have gone out at a worse time, just filled up bc gas had dropped (somewhat), at the time in college where it seems if you miss one class, you missed 50.
