What events are you racing in?

and what makes you think that reving past the factory rev limiter (which is set so the pistons stay INSIDE the block) will help? there's no power to be had up that high.

Your peak hp is (115 or so) around 5000rpm and peak tq (130ft/lbs) at 4000rpm. After those respective rpm's hp and tq decrease. No need to increase the rev limiter.. and dont even think about asking to remove the speed limiter...

Yeah we figured that out, and since you haven't figured out why we haven't answered you, it's because we're ignoring your question.

Also, like stated, there is no power to be had above redline, it is there for a reason, also, the engine is not build for that high of RPMs. If you build an engine that can handle the higher RPM's, I am sure you will know how to raise the rev limiter. Removing it is stupid, what happens when your tires break loose in first, you rev way past what the engine can handle and wreak your engine.

This is a very strange question... Considering i can redline mine but whats the point, peak hp and Torque are around 4300? the only thing your acheiving by redline or over that is engine damage. Someone should just tell him how so he can blow that thing up and be done with it?
