Hey everyone,

I have a 98 Cavalier LS 2.2L auto,
Lent the car out to my dad last week and I get a phone call, He was driving it and was slowing down so he went to step on the gas and the car wasnt running anymore. No inidication it had stalled (no loud noises or anything). Now it will not start. It will turn over but does not like to fire. It is getting spark, and it is getting fuel. I pulled the valve cover off to make sure the timing chain never grenaded and all the rockers move when it is cracked over. What could it be? possibly the timing chain jumped a tooth and isn't lined up now? Im at a stand still with what to look for next, hoping for some insightful direction lol
