Blower Settings Mixed Up

Hey everyone. I'm pretty sure that this problem can be fixed by opening up the dash and checking the alignment of all of the ventilation pipes, but here goes: This past weekend I was driving on some of Northeast PA's worst roads (which is probably equivalent to rallying) and after driving/ avoiding potholes, raised joints, and other fun obstacles, I found out that I didn't leave the carnage unscathed. My "Theft System" light had come on and stayed on and my blower settings were mixed up (Meaning when I put the settings to windshield defroster / lower vents, air will be coming from the lower vents and mid vents, but barely the defroster, plus less air seems to be blowing from the driver-side vents, etc. ) Since then the Theft System light turned off on its own. Please note that I have replaced my resistor and checked the fan 2 months ago, and all was working very well before this weekend. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had the same kind of problem with the vent settings. I'm hoping that it's just some foam piece that moved to block one of the blower system vents with all of the dash movement. But who knows? Any ideas or comments are appreciated! Thanks!

Just got done assessing the situation and it appears that the mechanical arm from the actuator had become disconnected from the "control flap" or "trap module". In other words, when switching the settings on the dial from "mid vent only" to "lower vent only" the arm from the actuator was moving, but because it was disconnected from the trap module, the door remained stationary. Off to the yard to find another clip to reconnect everything, because the lovely piece of plastic clip is broken. If anyone wants to see pics of what I'm talking about just ask me and I'll post them. Thanks!
