Well lately when I go over a bump or anything similar where my front left tire is at it'll sound ugly like I can feel it from inside the car I'm wondering if I have to change something or get rid of the coilovers and put the lowering springs back on. Any suggestions ?
i have a similar noise. the other day i tighetened and checked all bolts. nothing was loose or broken. i dont know what it is
Its like I go over small bumps and it seems like I hit a harder bump that what it is. I wanna know what it is so I can fix it now that I have extra cash
mine makes a noise to its a clunk when you hit a pot hole or something. im not sure but i think mine is the strut bushing . everything is tight and struts are good just that rubber bushing in the top. im not sure but i think thats my problem
I just hope its not something huge cause its gonna suck if it is
i have a feeling it is my rad cradle. but i could be completely wrong. my car is a rust bucket glad im getting rid of it/ using it as a winter beater after the summer
if it's a clunking sound, could potentially be either front stabilizer bushings, links, or lca bushings. if it's more of a clunk/squishing sound, could be strut mount. have a friend turn the wheel lock to lock slowly, put your hand on the front coil springs one side at a time while he is doing this and feel for a clunking/skipping when turning the wheel. strut mounts are a common wear item, and it's a cheap fix.
Mine makes a similar noise but it's coming from the rear. I'm running Tien SS's and ive checked everything to make sure it's all tight. Only does it when I hit speed bumps or any hard bumps (pot holes, etc.). Having trouble narrowing it down.
