I'm having a similar problem as don carrier. The car was running fine, then it started dying sporadically, now it won't run at all. Turning the key to "on" will return different results each time. I tested fuel pressure, there wasn't any. The fuel level would read different each time, and I would never hear the pump run with key on. The dash lights would also go nuts, I would hear a sound like a home computer hard drive going bad, and lots of relay clatter. I would also see "error" on the odometer. I swapped the fuel filter and fuel pump. Now, I have heard the pump run on a couple of key on's to prime the pump, but all else remains the same. I swapped the AC and Fuel Pump relays with no change. I installed new relays with no change. I charged the battery with a battery tender. The only other thing I can think of is the ECM.
There are no codes, which seems strange to me.
How do I test the ECM? Any other ideas?
THANKS!

No ideas? I just received the ECM I ordered, and now I have to have the thing towed to the dealership (used to be, but GM closed them) to let them install the new ECM or PCM (different folks call them different names) and flash it. I'd like to save $150 if you folks could give me an idea of what else to check first.
Still no codes. The only other thing I can think of is ignition. The motor turns over great, but I still get the odometer saying "error".

Check power and ground to the pcm.
I would not recommend having it shipped and flashed. Your throwing parts at it before confirming they're bad.
What are the pins to check for power and ground? The fuel level works now since I changed the fuel pump.
THANKS!
