I get a PO440 code when I scan it which is EVAP emissions system. Now that is kind of generic. Vac leak (which i dont think because it runs quite well), Purge solenoid, Purge vent control valve, charcoal canister, gas cap. Gas cap is newish, so I dont think that is it. Anyone have any ideas on how to track this down. Gets terrible gas mileage, like 20hwy going 70-75.

mine was throwing the same code before i parked mine, personally i wouldnt worry about it, it never affected my car at all, mine got better mileage then that as well, maybe something else is contributing to your bad mileage?
something else is contributing to your gas mileage.
mine's thrown a 440 for well over a year, last year after it started throwing that code i ripped the whole evap system out of the car.
still get 30+ miles to the gallon.
just dealt with the exact same issue. p0440, evap emissions system leak. car was getting horrible mileage, drove like this for a year. replaced the fuel pump/gasket on tank, gas cap, and purge solenoid and still didn't fix it. finally got around to evap smoke testing the car, turned out the filler neck had rusted through the seal where the cap seals to. smoked like a siv under load with the machine on, however it didn't appear to be super rusty while it was attached to the car as i always wash and blow-dry the area out. part was 50$ at gm cost, took four minutes and four bolts to install. gas mileage went up +50%
