hi guys, a week ago my check engine light came on, and i got it checked with a friends code scanner (them basic ones at CT). and it brought up the code P2A01, which from my google brings up, "HO2S Circuit Sensor 2 ECM". i got it erased and it came back after about 100kms. also would this kind of code make it harder on gas? im wondering where i should look for and what this exactly means? any help greatly appreciated, thxs shawn
Ho2S= Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 circuit
It's telling you your issue is in the wiring (opens, shorts, resistance ETC)
Your rear 02 does not affect fuel trim. Its merely responsible for cat efficiency.
Be sure to check the sensor itself as well. If all checks out okay, you may have an ECM issue.

thanks so much for the information, i just got the car back from the garage, im wondering if it be ok to drive it like this for a month or 2? if it helps tell how important it might be, when i clear the code sometimes it doesnt come back on for after 150 kms or 2 days. will it hurt the car driving it?
