Hey guys

I have a 2002 Z24 5speed and it heats up to past normal temp of 195...its doesnt reach up to red or anything...it goes about 3-4 lines over the middle even just for normal condition driving. I changed the thermostat...replaced with new coolant....any ideas?? I'm thinking either water pump...faulty thermostat??..i dont think there is a bleed for the coolant on the 2.4s so i'm just wondering what it could be

It could be the gauge off. My 99 reads 3/4 up the gauge but I've had it scanned and its running normal operating temp, Never had any problems except one time I was idling in traffic for 4 hours to get to haydays.. (snowmobile event)
