ok so I posted a thread about a month ago about drivimg in the rain hitting my brakes and having my anti lock brakes come on and me sliding half way through an intersection while trying to stop. now I know my car very well and know exactly how it stops until it pulls a crazy suprise like this. well I just kinda let it go until today my fiance wrecked her bike and txtd me since her phone wont call (I know convienient) well long story short I want sure where she was just had a general idea. well I drove like quite an ass trying to find her never locked the brakes just tire squealing gear slamming kinda driving . when we left the hospital my abs light was on well after shutting the car off the light hasn't came back on. so my question is wtf? why would it do that? also I've hard that out cars abs system is crap. is that true? should I just unhook them and not have it? what do you guys think? let me know thanks guys .

my advice: get them checked out by a professional mechanic.

well I just took it to my buddies shop this morning he said everything is working fine. but he did say gm had alot of complaints about our abs sytem
