fuel filter question
Monday, August 01, 2011 1:57 PM
Ok so I went to replace my fuel filter and the quick disconnect was all screwed up I had the special tool but someone who did it before just screwed it up. So I did get it off but. The metal clip that the plastic disconnect hooks to came out of the fuel line after tryingjc to get it back in I gave up and cut the line and attached a rubber hose to it. I used two hose clamps on the filter for assurance and one the other end because that's all I could use. My question is will this work? It didn't leak when I checked it but will it work long term? Thanks guys.

where did you get the hose and what pressure is it rated at? does it just say "fuel hose" on it or does it say "fuel injection hose"?
