Okay the car is a 99 Z24 2.4L. Im in the process of changing the regulator but I've ran into a few issues. First Ive got the rail retaining bolts out, and can pull the rail partially from the head. Ive gotten the torx screw on the side out but still cant get to the one on the bottom. Does the lower screw even have to come out? secondly is the fuel feed line nuts. what size are these things? none of my line wrenches fit these things. also Im having some serious issues disconnecting the injectors from the connectors, and finally if I do manage to change it like this with the rail pulled part of the way up will I need to replace the injector O-rings/ will they get damaged? Sorry for the long post.
I managed to get the regulator out without removing the rail completely from the car. I did still have to pull the injectors part of the way out though. should I go ahead and try to pull them futher out to lubricate them ? also the little o--ring that comes in the pack with the regulator is for the fuel return line o-ring correct?
