I've been having problems with me car so I took it a mechanic and he told me I need to replace the cat. I want to make sure I get the right one before I order it. I'm just going to replace the cat and nothing else so do I get the 2" or the 1.75"?

Dude you work at Autozone!! Get the whole downpipe from manifold back
It's too expensive even with my discount lol

So measure the pipe from the stocker and find out for yourself...
Sheesh, parts store monkeys these days... what the hell... I got so much information from when I worked at Napa and advance its ridiculous... you have the tools... use them.

What are you talking about? Like I said it's too expensive. It's cheaper just to go with performance-Curve if I wanted to buy a cat from my store I would.

...And like I SAID... Measure the bloody pipe to answer your original question... You work there... order it and measure it then send it back..

To help you out I need the diameter not the length. Which one do I need, Part # 425175 Thunderbolt - Spin Cat which is 1.75" or Part # 425200 Thunderbolt - Spin Cat which is 2" on stock piping.

Well if you buy just the converter are you going to take the pipe off cut the old
One off and weld on the new one?? If not I'd just save your money and buy the whole pipe. Aftermarket converters tend to not fit just like factory anyways and are pretty generic

right... because you couldn't possible measure diameter on the pipe you ordered...

Watch that thunderbolt. I just put one in my new exhaust, it smells and sounds like its not doing anything.

Further forward than the stock one by a couple inches. Sounds (popping on decel) and smells like there's no cat. Unless my dad blew the guts out of it the 5 miles he drove it home from the exhaust shop. I just finished tuning it so it'll be awhile before I determine if it throws catalyst low efficiency codes or not. Not that it matters to me. And if it gets clogged up I had the exhaust shop put band clamps on both sides and make me a test pipe.
