My car occasionaly throws the P0130 code, O2 circuit..... does this mean i need to get the sensor replaced?
Not always.
Check the wiring under the car at sensor 1. Follow it back away from the sensor as far as you can. Also check the connection. Look for loose wires, bubbled insulation, cuts, splits, or missing wires.
Based on an intermittent problem you're probably looking at a loose connection, or a wire rubbing on something somewhere.
