I searched and found a few things but im not quite sure, as of lately my gas gauge does not work and shows zero gas..so im having to go off of reading my trip to see where im at..i was wondering if its the sending unit? is whats causing it to not read and also will the low fuel light come on? i havent tried to see if it comes on but i figure it wont because of it not knowing how much gas is in the tank, any help would be appreciated, if it is do u have to buy a new fuel pump?

I would bet youre fuel sending unit is shot.
