4 Seconds away from ripping my hair out and blowing up my car. I tried to drive to class today (First mistake), and walked outside and pressed the unlock button to get into the car. Nope. Driver's side door still locked. I press unlock again, and once more. My Headlights flash as if I unlocked it, the dome light turns on, and yet, the driver's side door is still locked. I press the trunk open key, works perfectly. I try to open the door manually with the key, and realize that the lock cylinder or whatever in there is, and has been broken for a while. Kinda frustrated now, but no big deal, the passenger side door lock still works. I walk around to the passenger side, shove my key into the lock.. and it won't budge to the right, only to the left... I try and try and try, and then use two hands, and turn right (clockwise) as hard as possible, and it unlocks. I climb in, unlock the driver side door and go back around to the driver side. Now completely confused, I hit the unlock/lock button on the door and...
Nothing, I hit the lock button and... a Noticeably loud clicking noise comes from the computer near my left leg in the driver side foot well. It's just one problem after another with this car. I have no idea what this could be. Blown fuse? Should I try disconnecting the battery? I'm at a loss here.. 30 minutes late to class, professor gave me an awesome attitude.. Great start to a thursday.
Yes, the car drives normally and does everything it's supposed to do besides unlock/lock... I just don't get it. Could it be a fuse? It's funny I knew this @!#$ was gonna happen because my passenger side door lock is soooo hard to lock and unlock by hand that the motor in there can't do it either. That's probably what caused this, but Idk what that clicking sound is.
Clicking sound is most likely a relay. I know if the horn is out (since its an integral part of the alarm) the locking won't work right. Unfortunately beyond that I can't be of much help. I've had an issue where my car will not unlock the passenger side nor lock the doors, but the trunk, the alarm, and unlocking the driver's side work just fine. I've yet to find a fix. You can check the fuses, but its unlikely you'll find one blown.
Yeah the horn definitely works, I tried the panic button on my key fob and it worked fine. After some more googling I read something about an RFA batt fuse? I'm gonna check my fuses now.
Sorry for the double post.. I just got out of class, went to get into my car, and the door locks (both of them) work fine.. wtf?
It sounds like multiple problems to me.
First, as far as your power locks not working... It seems like a bad actuator, in one or both doors.
And it also sounds like your door lock cylinders are corroded and seized.

The actuators are probably fine from what I've experienced, although the passenger side lock cylinder is definitely heavily corroded. As for the driver side, the thing's just completely broken, not corroded. I can put the key in and turn it left or right and it feels like I'm not doing anything at all, no resistance or anything. It's funny though, not two weeks ago my car was going nuts and locking and unlocking itself non-stop while I was driving.. I took the battery out of the key fob and put it back in and it seemed to make it stop.. I'm starting to wonder if maybe my BCM is on it's way out. :/
Sounds like same thing that happened to my car... in an outdoor mall.. and everyone watched me crawl in through my trunk to get in my car :/
The clicking sound is the relay, and I tried changing that but it did NOTHING.
I was told it was possibly the actuaters, but it turned out to be the motors were burnt out. I opened the door panel and it spelled and looked burnt. I just said f' it and pulled them off and now I have to open my car manually.
