air in the clutch line wont make it slip right?

pedals been feelins spongey lately and the shifter has gotten very very sloppy, 8psi in 4th gear and it's slipping badly

yes this is for my other car, but it's the same concept...

I don't think air in the line would cause a slippage, but I would def fix that spongy pedal. See what happens. But ya, its mostly going to be your clutch is either worn down too much and over heating which would cause you to slip.

weird..the guy told me the clutch was fairly new...i have drifted it few times which means i popped it a total of like 8 times(popped it easily for those since it was only in the rain), other then that ive slammed 2nd and 3rd hard few times, but nothing too violent...once it hits boost it starts to slip, full boost and it's like neutral....ima bleed it see what happens, if not ill throw another clutch in

it's like 4th gear floored from 2000...8psi around 2700 and it slips...when it happened, i was at redline in 4th doing only 60mph, i was liek hmm something's wrong, i tried it again and it slipped so something is deffinately wrong, but thanks

If someone told me they put a new clutch in a car I wouldn't believe them unless there are pictures/receipts/details/etc.
It's a slipping clutch, case closed.

if you want info on your SUPRA (we all know your cav isn't turbo) go to the right section of the forum or to the supra forums.

How "new" is this suposidly new clutch?

It may not have been broken in properly and glazed up.
