I've called local junk yards and the only place that had one wanted $300 for the plastic piece which is outrageously ridiculous... The only one I could find on ebay was for $65 but it had some of the mounting screws broken off...
Any suggestions?
Thanks
What kind of car? im the only j in my area so im about the only person that picks the local pull it yard and we have a few 03 and up cavys, a pic would be nice
Meh... Obviously I meant "Cavalier" and not a "Cavaier"... lol
I mite could snag one of those for you, i know theres about 4 or 5 of the newer body style cavi's at my local yard and 1 of them IS a LSS..also there is a former jbody owner in my area and hes got alot of leftover parts, i believe hes got a cf trunk bezel
Sorry, what is an LSS and a CF? I just inherited this car from my grandmother as shes no longer allowed to drive due to medical reasons. I honestly don't know much about the car let alone automobiles in general... I'm assuming the LSS and CF are two different sub-models of the Cavalier; if so, how do I know which one I have?
Thanks
Also, how long do you think it'd be before you'd know for sure if you could obtain one and how much you'd be asking for the part + shipping to West Virgina?
My state inspection is going soon so I'm kinda getting antsy about it.
Thanks again.

LSS is short for the Cavalier LS Sport model, CF is for Carbon Fiber. I think you just need a regular plastic piece for your car, unless you want to start dressing your car in CF, that will empty your wallet real quick though.

im goin to the junk yard right now ill be taking pictures
Thanks Jordan! You are also correct in your assumption that I am just looking to replace my broken part with another plastic stock part. I certainly don't have the funds to start decking out my ride with performance parts, carbon fiber, or other custom mods...
Awesome Daniel! Let me know what ya find!
I found a few like what ur looking for and also a few with the bowtie that extends to each tail light but this is the best looking 1 as far as exactly what u want, there were a few of the others that look alot better...25$ plus shipping, if u feel the need to throw me a finders fee in there it would be much apprieciated
How are the bowties attached? Would I be able to take the bowtie from mine and place on that one since it seems to be missing...
you should be able tooi know they make adhesive spacific. for attatching emblems but iv always used double stick tape..lol
looks to be an LS Sport rear bumper as well.
as for the bowtie, remove the glue and just leave it off....
Haha, ok.. So how do you remove the glue residue?
And Daniel, assuming the mounting screws are all accounted for - I'll take it! Let me know what information you need and how I can send you the money!
Thanks

OK cool, i sent u a pm, i still dont kno where ur yard got 300 bucks from thats rediculous
yea its either silver or gold i cant remember
If it's a silver one in good condition, I'd love to have that since the my vehicle is also silver.
Anyway, I responded to your pm...
Ok well ill go pull the part tomorrow and if i see its silver ill grab it
I've done some research and from what I've found, 2003 models have the long silver bow tie while the 2004 and 2005 models have the short gold bow ties.. Therefore, I don't think a long gold bow tie exists so it must be silver.
