AC Compressor

Have a quick question. What would make the AC compressor cycle on and off every few seconds? I have checked the pressure and it reads normal which means it has the adequate amount of refrigerant. It has been doing this for the past couple of days now. Does someone know what the cause could be? Thanks.

Don't forget to account for outside temperature. The normal range on a cheap gauge doesn't work if your in an area with an outside temperature over 85*.

If its cycling off and on, its low. Add more until it stops cycling.

If it keeps cycling off and on you might have either a low or high pressure switch not working right.
