I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee I just found out that the setting issue that the 4.7L just made it so my vehicle missed in cylinder 2 Well i got the heads off and found out it had scared the top of the piston. Now what to do? I could have it fixed but i am told I have to change all of the pistons but was wondering if I could get away with just fixing that one? Its scared in the middle of the piston head. Does anyone know if it would even affect the running of the vehicle if i just get the setting issue fixed on the heads and but it back together with all new gaskets or what should I do I have the weekend to figure this out PLEASE PLEASE help Thanks
Why would you post something about a Jeep in a Chevy Cavalier forum??? Please use Google to find a Jeep forum and post your question there.
Thanks
Maybe he thought the J in J-body stands for Jeep.
Describe what you mean by scared.
And describe what "setting" it is that your talking about.
Then maybe i can help.
Yes, you should either post this in the "other cars" forum, or go over to jeepforum.com and ask there, they will probably be able to better answer jeep engine specifics, and any other questions you might have about your jeep.
SOrry thought this was a jeep sit sorry again
