I've looked all over the site and cant find anything close to whats going on with my car.

First it started with it running fun turn the car off, run in a store run out and then it would turn over start to try and then battery died, fixed that problem (i think) with a new battery stud.
Now it ides fine on start up but once i hit the gas and get RPM's it sits at 2000-3000 RPM till i stop then goes to idle. im thinking it has to do with some thing with the computer because it got reset with the battery problem.
I do know i have a check engine lite and it says down stream O2 sensor and minor evap leak (the leak is random on and off). ALSO the fuel pump i can hear working so i think it could be that anyone have any similar issue to help me check i am going to school for automotive so i am very mechanically inclined,

I had similar problems. Slow start up after short trips, piccadilly rough idle, and mostly the rpm stocking after a rev. My problem was the TPS. $30 at O'Reillys and two screws.

". Are you doing this in neutral or is all the rpm's you can get going down the road.
