ive got 01 cavalier 2.2L, I am in need of replacing my starter, I dont have to worry about any anti theft kicking on? Just unstall and re install.

you shoodnt but, make sure your battery is disconected totaly, and press the brake fro a few sec. just to make sure the car is dead. thats what i do on all starter jobs and no problems. good luck
