Well I found the source of my weird vibrations during acceleration that I brought up in my other thread. I still have an issue where the car has a weird shimmy in the rear of the car. It has been that way since I bought it and is sometimes worse than others. Its a convertible so that may play into it. i can feel the rear of the car shimmying left to right and can see it in my mirror as the top moves back and forth. Had it to a shop and they cant figure it out. Any suggestions?
Sounds like a bad strut to me. I had a strut go bad and cause a terrible high speed vibration. The wheel was literally bouncing!

is the axle going left and right? Might be time for new axle bushings.

Both are easy to check, jack the back end up and wiggle the wheel. Heck if you man up and grab by the spokes and really give her hell you can tell a bad bearing without jacking it up.

Wheel bearings seem ok, Im leaning toward bad axle bushings the car does have 208k on it haha. This is the third strut/spring combo and it was the same with all 3 so Im ruling that out unless I have really crappy luck.
